Blue Moo

A couple of weeks ago, we take Moobert in to get his teeth cleaned and to make sure that they don't have to pull out his broken fangs. Before they put him under anesthesia, they draw blood. I got a call saying when they restrained him to draw the blood he turned blue (we're still not entirely sure how you can tell when a cat turns blue). He was referred to a cardiologist to make sure he didn't have heart disease.
Thursday he got to visit the cardiologist. He was quite unhappy and apparently had a lot to say to them. They did a cardiogram, took his blood pressure and did an EKG. His heart is fine. It didn't cause him to turn blue. They think that he just worked himself up so much and with the shape of his nose and mouth he blocked his airway. He may have been hissing too much and his tongue got in his way or something. What a moron!
I only regret that I didn't get to see him when he had his helmet on. Instead of sedating cats, they use a helmet. I was told it looks like an astronaut's helmet, except that it is soft. Apparently, they look pretty dumb, but it saves them from being bitten. I think I need one for when we clip his claws!

Considerate Dreamer...

I found a link to a personality test that I thought was neat. It said I am a considerate dreamer; the full results are here.
